Facility design

We focus on bespoke design tailored to the client’s needs, the available space and an optimal workflow, aiming for maximum efficiency.

We analyse various solutions with the client and, after selecting the most suitable one, develop the project by defining operations, sizing warehouses and stock, etc., and choosing the optimal machinery for the process. The layout is then established, the civil engineering project and the details of the installations are analysed, including auxiliary elements, taking economic and geographical factors into account, whilst maintaining constant communication with the client to resolve queries and improve the installation.

Leather Industry

iPAP has carried out around 70 national and international projects in the leather sector, particularly in the field of leather for footwear and upholstery.

We aim to maximise production efficiency by optimising flows, reducing movement and interference, and improving ergonomics and cleanliness, whilst implementing systems to recover process water, thereby reducing costs and environmental impact in line with the Leather Working Group’s control requirements. This includes sorting trimmings for reuse in fertilisers and in the food, cosmetics and pharmaceutical industries.

Food Industry

With over 20 projects completed, the food sector is another of the firm’s areas of specialisation. Some of these projects are based on the utilisation of by-products from the tanning industry, aimed at obtaining collagen of various grades.

After years of research and dedication, iPAP has developed a technology that enables the transformation of untanned leather trimmings into a highly valuable raw material for the food and pharmaceutical industries.
